
Salt and Pepper Spareribs
A fusion between Taiwanese pork chops and salt and pepper pork chops commonly found in Chinese restaurants, this variation is crisp on the outside, flavorful, and tasty on the inside.
Ingredients
- 300 grams Spareribs
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Peppercorn
- 2 tsp Rice Wine
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/4 tsp Five Spice Power
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- 1 tbsp Chili Bell Pepper
- Meat tenderizer powder
- Baking Soda
Eggs, FLour, and Cornstarch for dredging
Instructions
- Marinate spareribs in salt, pepper, sugar, wine, meat tenderizer, and baking soda.
- Dredge in egg, flour, and cornstarch before frying.
- Fry then strain.
- Heat oil. Put back spareribs then add five-spice powder, garlic, and peppers, then drizzle with wine.
